Restaurant Review:

Address Hotel, Dubai Mall
Downtown Dubai

We’ve always loved Dubai a little more than usual during the Holy Month of Ramadan and this year’s no different. Amidst all the extra time we get to spend with family and friends, we have also been reveling in a variety of Iftars, Suhours and other such. We recently indulged in the lavish Iftar at Na3Na3, The Address Dubai Mall, courtesy of Emaar Dubai. Committed to creating authentic Arabic dishes using traditional ingredients and seasoning, Na3Na3 boasts of row after row of Middle Eastern themed food, drink and dessert that will leave you wide-eyed in amazement.
As Iftar commenced, Ramadan beverages such as Jallab, Laban Ayran, Qamardeen and fruit juices were served along with a wide selection of dates and simple sweet meats to begin with. It was then time to explore the salads and the appetizers and here are our picks from this plethora of items on offer in this section:

  • Labneh Bil Jarjer
  • Beetroot Mutabbal
  • Tabbouleh
  • Fattoush
  • Hummus
  • Assortment of cheeses

  • Lamb Shawarma
  • Lamb Kebabs
  • Baked Manakish
  • Lamb & Chicken Mandi
  • Seafood Sayadia
  • Shish Tawook

The enormous pot of Lamb & Chicken had its own majestic spot away from the rest of the main courses and looked as great as it tasted! The Kebabs and shish tawook were delicious and disintegrated perfectly as we dug into them. As far as the seafood sayadia goes, we suggest you either attack it as they open the dish or wait for them to refill the vessel so as to get the best morsels of shrimp and fish.

The immense selection of desserts both Middle Eastern and international had us squealing like kids in a candy store. You may have to spend extra time at the gym but believe us when we say the assorted Baklava is well worth every last calorie as is the Kunafa (we preferred the classic cream-filled one over the one with cheese). In addition, we couldn’t stop ourselves from taking multiple servings of the following:

  • Mohalabiya
  • Chocolate Mousse
  • Brazilian Cake (A green coconut and cream based dessert)

There was also a lovely Turkish delight stand resembling the Shawarma Machines across the UAE that you have to slice the Turkish delights off of. We loved the novelty and presentation of this dessert as we donned the Shawarma man gloves and proceeded to slice off generous chunks of Turkish delights. Turkish delight aficionados, this one’s for you.
Overall, we loved the luxuriousness, presentation and food at Na3Na3, The Address and recommend it if you’re on the hunt for a grand Iftar where you will be spoilt for choice.
