Restaurant Review:

Situated in the Sky Gardens building in the Dubai International Financial Centre area, Dinamico is a bright, spacious restaurant that brings to Dubai the varied flavors and tastes of Italy, predominantly from the Tuscany area. The décor is fun with hilarious words of advice on colorful sheets making up one of the walls while another has shelves lined with authentic Italian products that can be purchased. There is also an outdoor seating area which is perfect for the kind of weather Dubai has been treated to lately. We’ve always maintained that there’s a lot more to Italian food than just pizzas and pastas and it pleases us immensely when we get the chance to try out diverse dishes from the effervescent country.
Here’s everything we had at our recent tasting at the restaurant:

  • Burrata, Pomodori Di Stagione E Basilico: Burrata Heirloom Tomatoes And Basil
  • Zuppetta Di Pomodori, Ricotta Mantecata E Basilico: Tomato Soup With Ricotta Mousse And Basil
  • Ravioli Di Ricotta E Spinaci Con Burro E Salvia Fonduta Di Parmigiano: Ricotta And Spinach Ravioli In Butter And Sage Sauce, Parmesan Fondue
  • Risotto Ai Porcini E Tartufo: Risotto With Porcini And Truffles
  • Mezzi Pacheri Alla Sorrentina: Mezzi Pacheri Pasta With Tomato Sauce, Aubergines And Burrata
  • Margherita Pizza: Tomato Sauce, Mozzarella, Basil And Oregano
  • Scaloppine Di Pollo Ai Funghi E Rosmarino: Chicken Escalope With Mushroom Sauce And Rosemary

Dinamico presents another Burrata that we add to our list of favorites but the clear winner in the appetizers category had to be the soup with a generous helping of Ricotta. Once stirred, the Ricotta perfectly blends with the soup resulting in a thick, delicious start to the meal and an ideal one for the cold evening that it was! Moving to the mains, we thoroughly enjoyed the rich, creamy Ravioli which was honestly quite different from what we’ve usually had. Risotto fans will love the velvety dish while the Pizza is a cheesy must have if you’ve got some room left after all the indulgence.

  • Cannoli Alla Siciliana: Sicilian Cannoli Filled With Ricotta, Oranges And Pistachios
  • Budino Alla Vaniglia E Caramello Alle Nocciole: Crème Caramel With Hazelnuts

If there’s cannoli on the menu, we aren’t going home without having it, regardless of how full to the brim we are. While we still aren’t over the Cannoli varieties we feasted on in Italy, the Cannoli at Dinamico is pretty good but again doesn’t compare to what we’ve had in its country of origin. The second dessert is essentially a Caramel custard with hints of hazelnut flavor. Another good one to end the evening with.

Dinamico claims to “welcome you as strangers, serve you as family and say goodbye like old friends,” and after our session at the restaurant with their friendly faces, great service and delicious food, we can safely say that their claim is a 100% true!
