Seafood Nights

Situated within a towering member of Sheikh Zayed Road, the Warwick Hotel, Bayty is an all-day restaurant that features different theme nights over the course of a week in addition to international cuisine buffets. Every Thursday and Friday, the restaurant hosts its seafood night aptly named “Jewels of the ocean,” and we got the chance to try this theme night out at our recent tasting. The restaurant itself is a moderately spacious, warm setting with a few lavish counters filled with salads, Sushi, fried and grilled seafood, some non-seafood dishes and finally desserts. There is quite a bit to eat especially for seafood fans so make sure you pace yourselves and make the most of what’s on offer. Here are the items that stood out for us:

  • Mixed Seafood Salad
  • Seafood Chowder
  • Chicken Tikka Salad
  • Aloo Channa Chaat (Potato And Chickpea Salad)
  • Glass Noodles Corn Salad
  • Grilled Squid
  • Grilled Mussels
  • Pizza Style Bread
  • Mussels And Oysters
  • Sushi
  • Fried Calamari and Fish
  • Chicken Biryani

We had to revisit the respective sections that housed these dishes as they were plain delicious. The seafood chowder was delightful and we couldn’t get enough of the grilled seafood items that the Chef constantly put forth. There wasn’t too much to choose from in the Sushi section which was part of the salads but the few that were on offer were lovely. We tried a few of the non-seafood items but they paled in comparison to the seafood so we saved our calories for what we liked most.
Desserts

  • Caramelia Cake
  • Warwick Choco Delice
  • Condensed Tablet
  • Cheesecake

There are quite a few desserts to choose from but the seafood is irresistible thus making you skimp on desserts. However, we still managed quite a few and our favorites of the lot were the above mentioned ones. Multiple slices of the Caramelia cake were eaten by us and we vowed to work it all off extra hard at the gym but it was so worth it. The Choco delice, a layered, creamy dessert with a solid base (the one at Warwick was very coconut cookie like) was another one we couldn’t get enough of. The condensed tablet and cheesecake made for perfect alternatives for when we felt like we’d overdosed on chocolate.

Overall, Bayty’s seafood night is a pretty decent theme night for those craving some well-cooked seafood!
